Sunset kisses is when time holts for young love. Strolling on the beach in twilight as the day merges into night and she allows herself to be encased in her lovers gaze.
Real life sweetheart, Tarrah and Alexander made it look so easy. Enjoying the flow of the day and their love for each other shines through every image. The stunning setting of the Brighton Savoy Hotel was chosen as the modern wedding venue and it had a real tropical vibe with the natives and stunning florals by Botanics of Melbourne. Orchids always add an elegant feel to the floral arrangement and are really on trend this season. Classic white and green were chosen with a hint of yellow & gold.
Hughes of gold and black were incorporated into the florals, invites and jewellery to tie back to the venue, while white was used to offset the look.
Clean lines and geometric shapes were used in the table toppers & wedding cake carrying the gold and white theme throughout.
Tarrah wears a stunning Karen Willis Holmes gown. It’s a modern wedding gown fusing clean lines and quality fabrics which adds a modern edge while still toying with classic bridal designs. The bridal accessories from Jeanette Maree were used to add a playful and modern element, adding a fresh look to a bridal gown.
Dewy natural make up was applied by the talented hand of Sophia, adding the perfect blend of make up to Tarrah’s natural beauty so both elements shone on the day. The same principle was used while styling the hair. Grace from This is Gem creates soft waves using colour matched extensions along with her real hair. This approach adds a non-fussy, real quality to the bridal look.
Endless blue skies and city views from the roof top were an ideal backdrop for some epic veil shots, and the couple got all loved up as the sun caressed them both from above.
As day quickly turned to evening we hit the beach (just across the road), it’s the perfect backdrop to catch the last light of the day, expansive stretches of sand and the magical colours of the evening. Tarrah wears a breathtaking Galia Lahav gown exclusive to Eternal Bridal. It shimmers and reflects light mirroring the lapping water. Lanterns were the perfect addition to the arbour and guided the couple back to the venue.
This sunset kisses shoot was captured by the talented eye of Jessica Rose Photography, her calm and quiet nature is the perfect choice for couples wanting to capture their story of love. She is only a handful of wedding photographers that can do this without taking you way from the joy of the day, but by seamlessly blending into the flow of your big day.
Much like planning a wedding, so much thought and detail goes into planning a styled sunset kisses shoot.
Weeks of calling, emailing and selecting all the right elements to create the perfect look for the day. Any bride in the midst of her wedding planning can relate to all the little details. We hope this shoot adds some wedding inspiration from a very talented group of suppliers while planning your “BIG DAY”
