Effortless Elegance

First stop… Paris.

Just arriving in Paris the night before I was so excited for Jess the photographer to arrive and begin our first Parisian shoot.

Everything fell into place seamlessly. The location and apartment was perfect, it was beautifully decorated with antiques that added so much elegance to the shoot without overbearing the space. I was even more excited after the model arrived, she was creative, artistic and such a beautiful soul, encapsulating the vibe of effortless elegance. Even with language barriers Manon was really more than I dreamt possible, and once she started posing I was ecstatic. She just conveys so much emotion in every pose, it was a delight to watch.

A Little B.T.S

Next stop hair and makeup.

After hair and makeup was finished, (I mean seriously, she didn’t need much) Jess started creating her magic, capturing our first Parisian bridal shoot. The dress, from One Day Bridal, was brought over from Melbourne and was perfect for Manon’s frame. Featuring a low front and back V design, the multiple layers of flowing fabric added to the beauty and femininity of the shoot.

Carefully chosen jewels to create a modern aesthetic.

Accessories with a minimal aesthetic were chose to compliment the dress and model, everything went so well I also had a bit of time to shoot some new designs and change the look up.

We love the modern bride look with the diamante hair pins and the french chic aesthetic is completed with a delicate crystal bracelet and modern statement ring set with crystals in a pave finish.

Trop tôt, le temps est pass.

Like all things enjoyable it was over way too soon, but gave Jess and I the rest of the day to go out and explore the city. What a dream day. It’s moments like this I get to see how a complete look comes together and the part bridal accessories play in complementing it. And I’m in Paris….Pinch me!!
