Conditions of use:
The Jeanette Maree web site is owned and operated by Jeanette Maree Pty Ltd. These terms and conditions (“terms”) govern your use of the Jeanette Maree website and the purchase of any goods or service from Jeanette Maree. By placing an order with Jeanette Maree, you express your understanding and agreement that you are bound by these terms. If you are unwilling to be bound by these terms, you may not purchase through the Jeanette Maree website.
Where can I purchase Jeanette Maree?
Jeanette Maree’s full range is available to purchase online and is also available from the Melbourne boutique. Curated ranges are also available in leading and selected stores. To ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible, we recommend you make your purchase via the shopping cart. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
Tax & Handling Charges
For all merchandise purchased through jeanettemaree.com, a mandatory 10% goods and services tax (GST) is payable by Australian law for goods sent to an Australian delivery address. For all Australian residents or Australian shipping addresses, this 10% GST will be included in your order total and processed at the time of sale.
For international customers this 10% tax will not be charged by jeanettemaree.com, and deducted from the listed price, however you will be liable to pay your own country’s applicable import/duty taxes on receipt of your package. It is your sole responsibility to research these duty/taxes and you are liable to pay them on receipt of your packages. Please contact us in the notes section of your order if you have any concerns before we ship your order.
If the buyer refuses to accept delivery as they don’t want to pay the duties & taxes imposed by their country, they then wear the cost of returning the order to us. This includes the freight cost and the amount will be deducted from their refund.
Can I change my order?
You can amend your order at any point, prior to proceeding to the check out. To review your purchase, or to make changes to your order, click on the “your cart” button. Once you are happy with your amendments, click “update order” to save changes. Once payment has been made and the order processed, no changes can be made.
Special orders are classified as those that differ in any way from the Jeanette Maree range. Whilst we are happy to accommodate special orders, a surcharge of 25% will apply unless otherwise quoted.
What happens if my items are out of stock?
If for any reason at all we’re unable to fill your order, we will:
- Let you know by phone or email as soon as possible
- Let you know when your item will be available or do our best to offer you an alternative
- Reverse your payment, if the transaction has been processed.
Product & display colours
Jeanette Maree attempts to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown on the site. However because the colours you see will depend on many factors, including your monitor or printer, Jeanette Maree cannot guarantee that the colour you see matches the product colour. One off items are defined as being the only one of its design available at ‘Jeanette Maree’ at the time, either being a bespoke design or an import that is unavailable to re-order at the time.
Risk and title
Jeanette Maree will retain title to the products you order until you have made payment in full for those products, but all risk in the products will pass to you upon their delivery to or collection by a postal or courier service. You should consider whether to obtain any suitable delivery insurance. Please see shipping for more information.

Jeanette Maree makes no representations or warranties about any other website which you may access through this site (“other website”). When you access another website, that other website is independent from this site, and Jeanette Maree has no control over the content on that other website. Any link to another website is provided as a convenience to users of this site. Other websites are not under the control of Jeanette Maree, and Jeanette Maree is not responsible for the accuracy of any information on any other website. Jeanette Maree does not monitor or review the content of any other website.
Pricing and product information
Jeanette Maree makes every effort to provide current and accurate information relating to products, services, and prices displayed on the Jeanette Maree website, but does not guarantee the currency or accuracy of any such information. Information relating to Jeanette Maree’s products is subject to change without notice. Prices are subject to change at any time prior to Jeanette Maree’s acceptance of your order. In the event we discover a material error in the description or availability of a product or service that affects your outstanding order with Jeanette Maree, or an error in pricing, we will notify you of the corrected version, and you may choose to accept the corrected version, or cancel the order. If you choose to cancel the order, and your credit card has already been charged for a purchase, we will issue a credit to your nominated account for the amount of the charge.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in force in Victoria, Australia and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia and any courts that may hear appeals from those courts.
Return and Exchange Policy
We do not offer exchanges or refunds on sale items, promotions, and products purchased using discount codes. Sale items are either samples, end of season or display stock and may have been on shop display for a significant length of time. These sale items are therefore offered at a significant discount. In choosing to purchase any sale item, you acknowledge the condition of the item and acknowledge that you are not entitled to any refund, credit note or exchange. Please choose earrings carefully, as due to Australian hygiene regulations we cannot exchange or refund earrings.
Return under change of mind request
We offer an exchange only for change of mind (this excludes: re-sized, modified or custom made items and shoes or earrings) on unworn, unused, undamaged items purchased at full price only within 14 days of the purchase date or delivery date. Items can be exchanged in-store or through postage at the customer’s expense.
Shipping within Australia is free for orders over $100. However if goods are returned for exchange the customer will incur a shipping fee between $10-$25 which will be deducted from the total original invoiced amount, to compensate for original shipping cost to Jeanette Maree p/l. If international goods are returned, the customer will incur a $25 deduction from the total original invoiced amount.
Please request a return ID number within 14 days of receipt or delivery of your order at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include the original invoice and return form in the parcel. You must also return the gift box/pouch your item was sent with. We happily refund any goods that arrive faulty, or shoes that don’t fit where a replacement isn’t available. All goods returned for refund or exchange should be sent to:

We recommend a return freight method with a tracking number be used for all returns.
We must receive your returned items within 14 days of issuing the return ID number if interstate. We are not responsible for returns damaged or lost in transit.
We will happily exchange your jewellery if the item has not been worn, or damaged in any way and still has all tags and packaging intact. Simply email us at email@example.com for your return ID number, and return with your jewellery and invoice to us at:

Please also note that shipping fee will be charged when requesting an exchange. Please refer to shipping information for more details on cost of shipping.
We will happily offer a credit note if you simply change your mind once you have received your purchases. The above conditions apply with 30 days to use the credit note.
Please note: It is your responsibility to ensure the safe return of any item that has been sent to Jeanette Maree head office. Jeanette Maree takes no responsibility for loss through post.
If your goods arrive faulty or damaged, we are more than happy to offer a repair, full refund or exchange, in accordance with the following process:
- The item must have been purchased within 30 days of notification.

- The item must have been purchased within 30 days of notification.
On receipt of your jewellery, the item will be assessed by our jeweller. The return shipping cost for the faulty item will be reimbursed to you once the item has been assessed as having a manufacturers fault (not from wear) and the return has been granted. We therefore suggest you include the return freight payment receipt with your original invoice and return document so this freight cost and your original payment can be refunded together.
If we establish a fault via images Jeanette Maree will forward you a courier label to have the items returned to us, or send a replacement item.
We are happy to carry out repairs free of charge provided the item is returned within 3 months of the purchase date and deemed a manufacturing fault, not due to wear.

A small repair fee and postal charges will be charged if deemed the fault is caused by wear only.
Shipping & Handling Policy
Jeanette Maree delivers jewellery around the globe. Our staff take care to inspect and ensure all orders are in perfect condition. All jewellery is then packed in a signature Jeanette Maree box and/or pouch before being delivered to you. If for an unforeseen circumstance your jewellery arrives in a damaged or less than perfect condition, you must notify us within 48 hours.
Your order will be dispatched within 1-3 business days from the date of the order. We ship to all countries accepted by Sendle Couriers and Australia Post international registered post, or EMS.
Shipping within Australia:
FREE delivery for orders over $100 (Australia only) via courier or Australia post depending on post code.
Express inside of Australia, ($15 flat rate), takes 1-4 days.
EMS global / registered ($25) – 4-6 business days (expect delays during Covid pandemic)
Courier extra cover: free on orders up to $100.
After that, $1.95 for each $100 cover applies (up to a max value $1500). The total price for the extra cover amount you choose will automatically calculate when we create your delivery order, and we are happy to quote you beforehand at email@example.com.
Click & Collect
Click & collect is a free service that allows you to order online and pick up your purchase from our head office in Armadale, Melbourne (address below) between 10am and 5pm Monday-Saturday. We will email you to let you know as soon as your order is ready, or call us for a direct response on 03 9822 8842. Available for VIC customers only.

Important details about your delivery
Our headpiece and shoe deliveries require a signature on receipt, or (during COVID ) to leave at a safe location at your address, so please ensure you give us a suitable location or address where someone is available to sign for the delivery when it arrives. We are unable to redirect goods once your order has been sent, and cannot send to P.O Boxes.
As you can understand, we are unable to take responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances (reasons beyond our control), which may cause your delivery to be late, or not arrive. If you want an item to arrive urgently or require insurance, please choose the correct delivery method. Standard post (not trackable or traceable) Express post and couriers (have tracking numbers) or please call us directly if you need an order urgently.
Can my order be tracked during delivery?
All express post and courier orders have an Australia post or courier tracking number. Contacting these couriers and quoting your tracking number will enable you to monitor the delivery progress of your parcel. Please note for international orders – once parcels have left Australia you will need to track your parcel via your countries postal service by quoting the same tracking number.
Personal information we collect
When you visit the site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, ip address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the site, and information about how you interact with the site. We use the order information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

Organise delivery of your order;

When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We share your personal information with third parties to help us use your personal information, as described above. We also use google analytics to help us understand how our customers use the site.
When you place an order through the site, we will maintain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
The Jeanette Maree website and social media platforms including Facebook and Instagram content images & all of its materials, including but not limited to its software or html code, scripts, text, artwork, photographs, images, video & audio will collectively be known at ‘materials’. All ‘materials’ are protected by copyright laws & other international laws & treaties. You must comply with all proprietary and copyright notices on this web site. This web site is owned by Jeanette Maree Pty Ltd and subject to copyright. The information on this site is protected under Australian copyright laws. Subject to provisions of the copyright act 1968 (Australia), you must not in any form or by any means:
